CONSTRUCTION: Each set is assembled in house in the USA out of mandrel bent, thick wall .065″” T304L stainless steel. Back purged TIG welding ensures proper weld penetration and longevity. We fabricate these cats using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a great heat sink during the welding process and prevent warping not only of our products, but the fixtures themselves to ensure perfect fitment. Due to the close proximity of the catalytic converters to sensitive components, heat shields are a MUST with the C8! We’ve partnered with PTP Turbo Blankets to produce a bespoke, form-fitting heat shielding solution. Far superior to no-name brand copies, PTP Lava Turbo Blankets are constructed with an outer layer made from pulverized volcanic lava rock (Rated 1800°F Direct Heat / 2500°F Radiant Heat) formed into fabric and woven into a tight mesh weave. These blankets are internally insulated with high temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (Rated 1832°F Continuous / 2300°F Peak) overlaid with a high temperature stainless steel mesh for increased durability and improved thermal resistance. The Lava Blankets are designed to withstand the harshest of conditions.
POWER: Third party testing was performed on a Dynojet Dyno at Dynosty. Baseline power with factory exhaust was 453 whp and 427 ft-lbs of torque. The addition of SOUL Sport Catalytic Converters pushed power to 470 whp and 447 ft-lbs of torque for peak gains of 17 whp and 20 ft-lbs of torque!
HJS HD 200 CELL CATALYSTS: The highest quality catalytic converters available, known for their industry leading flow and durability. With their premium was coat full of precious metals, they are efficient enough at catalyzing to meet strict EURO 4 emission standards while still allowing for an increase in flow - all without a check engine light. The HD design uses a stout triple foil winding for maximum strength. The brazing stripe is an extra feature in their interest of durability - it prevents the core from moving or experiencing any damage from sustained high horsepower abuse. We use a large and appropriately sized catalyst to allow for maximum gains - the same cats tested and proven on our McLaren and Porsche Turbo applications for big horsepower support.
BOLT ON AND GO: Each product is rigorously quality-checked, tested in a fixture to guarantee fitment, and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. New, genuine GM gaskets are included.
