DESCRIPTION:

Help reduce oil vapor and crankcase contaminants entering the intake system of your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS/LT1 6.2L with the J&L Oil Separator 3.0 Driver Side kit. Available as part number 3081D-B in Black Anodized and 3081D-C in Silver/Clear Anodized, this vehicle-specific catch can installs on the PCV side and uses factory-style quick-connect fittings for a clean, plug-and-play installation. J&L machines the separator from solid billet aluminum and equips it with a multi-stage filtration system consisting of a fine stainless-steel mesh screen and a 1/2-inch-thick aluminum honeycomb filter. Oil vapor collects and becomes heavy enough to fall into the removable 3-ounce reservoir rather than continuing through the intake tract. The knurled reservoir base makes routine draining easy, while an O-ring provides a leak-resistant seal.

This kit installs on the driver side of the engine and is designed for the PCV side of the crankcase ventilation system.
J&L recommends draining the 3-ounce reservoir approximately every 2,000-3,000 miles; actual collection rates will vary by vehicle and operating conditions.
On models equipped with an intake sound tube, removal of the sound tube may be required for proper installation.
This product does not have a CARB Executive Order and is not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled vehicles in California.
