DESCRIPTION:

Upgrade the rear braking system of your 2017-2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 or ZL1 1LE with the Girodisc A2-211 2-Piece Slotted Rear Rotors. Engineered as a direct replacement for the factory rear brake discs, the Girodisc system bolts directly to the vehicle and works with the OE brake calipers without requiring modifications. This approach maintains the Camaro's factory brake bias and ABS efficiency while providing the benefits of a lightweight, high-performance two-piece rotor design. Each Girodisc rotor combines a lightweight center hat manufactured from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-specification aluminum with a proprietary cast iron friction ring that is poured in the USA and machined entirely in-house by Girodisc. The rotor's curved internal vane design is derived from racing applications and acts as a centrifugal pump, forcing cooling air through the disc to improve heat management during demanding braking. The fully floating rotor design uses high-strength alloy steel drive pins to connect the iron rotor ring to the aluminum hat while allowing axial and radial movement as temperatures change. This allows the rotor to expand under heat and self-center between the brake pads. When the friction rings eventually wear, they can be replaced separately while retaining the reusable aluminum center hats.

Important Notes

• Anti-noise spring washers are incorporated into the floating hardware to minimize the cold rattle commonly associated with floating brake rotors.
