Description
16-24 Camaro Auxiliary Radiator (Sold Individually) - CSF

Fits 2016-2024 CAMARO (2.0L, LT1, SS & ZL1)
Description:
Improve cooling performance and help combat heat soak in your sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro with the CSF 8207 High-Performance Auxiliary Radiator. Developed as a direct-fit upgrade for the Camaro's factory auxiliary cooling system, the CSF 8207 combines a larger two-row core, CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology, high-efficiency multi-louvered fins, and 100% all-aluminum TIG-welded construction to provide substantially greater cooling capability than the original equipment auxiliary radiator. High-performance sixth-generation Camaros can generate significant heat during extended spirited driving and track use. As temperatures rise, heat soak can reduce performance and, under sufficiently demanding conditions, contribute to protective engine-management strategies. CSF developed the 8207 specifically to work with the Camaro's existing cooling system to reduce operating temperatures and extend the threshold before heat soak becomes a limiting factor. The heart of the CSF 8207 is its upgraded 2-row, 42mm high-performance core. The original auxiliary radiator uses a 34mm single-row core with 23 cooling tubes, while the CSF design increases core thickness to 42mm, uses two rows, and incorporates 25 cooling tubes. This increased core capacity provides additional surface area and coolant capacity for improved heat transfer. CSF combines the larger core with its exclusive B-Tube technology. Rather than relying on conventional radiator tube construction, CSF's B-Tube core design is engineered to maximize heat transfer and cooling efficiency while maintaining strong airflow through the radiator. The 8207 also uses ultra-efficient 6.5mm-tall fins with a multi-louvered design to maximize surface-area contact. By comparison, CSF identifies the factory auxiliary radiator as using 8mm fins. Construction is another significant improvement over the original radiator. The factory unit uses plastic end tanks with a crimped and gasketed design, while the CSF 8207 features 100% all-aluminum construction with TIG-welded end tanks. The all-aluminum configuration provides increased durability for demanding street, track, and motorsports environments while eliminating the plastic end tanks found on the OEM cooler. Despite the increased cooling capacity, CSF engineered the 8207 as a true drop-in replacement. It uses OEM-style quick-connect inlet and outlet fittings and is designed to reuse the original hardware, shrouds, and connections. The same radiator can be installed on either the left or right side of the vehicle, simplifying ordering and replacement. Finished in Matte Black powder coat, the CSF auxiliary radiator maintains a subtle appearance behind the Camaro's front grille while adding another layer of protection to the aluminum construction. Every radiator is individually leak- and pressure-tested before leaving CSF. Whether the Camaro is a street-driven performance car, dedicated track build, or a vehicle simply needing a more durable replacement for its factory auxiliary cooling components, the CSF 8207 provides a purpose-built cooling upgrade with increased core capacity, all-aluminum construction, factory-style connections, and true direct-fit installation.

Important Notes
- CSF separately lists the 2.0L Turbo and 3.6L V6 applications, with an important requirement: those LT applications must be equipped with the Heavy-Duty Cooling and Brake Package.
- For 2016-2024 Camaro 2.0L Turbo and 3.6L V6 models, verify that the vehicle is equipped with the factory Heavy-Duty Cooling and Brake Package before ordering.
- CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology is incorporated into the high-efficiency core to further improve heat transfer.
- The 100% aluminum design is particularly advantageous for high-temperature, track, and motorsports environments where durability is a priority.
- CSF describes the standard 8207 as a true drop-in installation requiring no vehicle modifications.
- The radiator is suitable for professional racing, high-performance street use, or use as a more robust replacement for the original auxiliary radiator.
- Actual cooling performance will vary based on ambient temperature, vehicle speed, engine output, calibration, airflow, other cooling-system modifications, and track conditions.
- For heavily modified vehicles, the entire cooling system should be evaluated rather than assuming auxiliary radiators alone will address every thermal limitation.
- Inspect coolant hoses, quick-connect fittings, seals, shrouds, and related cooling-system components during installation and replace worn or damaged components as necessary.
