DESCRIPTION:
Reduce engine movement, sharpen throttle response, and improve drivetrain control in your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension Polyurethane Motor Mount Kit, Part Number MM009. Engine movement under acceleration can negatively affect throttle response, reaction time, and shifting consistency, particularly as horsepower and traction increase. BMR designed the MM009 to significantly reduce this unwanted engine deflection while retaining enough compliance for performance-oriented street use. The MM009 replaces the Camaro's factory motor mounts with a performance-focused combination of heavy-duty billet aluminum and steel plate construction. At the center of the design are BMR's 95-durometer polyurethane bushings, which provide a considerably firmer connection between the engine and chassis than the factory mounts. The reduced compliance helps keep the engine more securely positioned when torque loads increase during acceleration, shifting, and aggressive driving. This makes the MM009 an excellent starting point for performance builds that may become more competition-focused in the future.
