Designed to reinforce the sixth-generation Camaro's front unibody and suspension structure, the STB019 uses a rigid twin-tube, two-point design to solidly connect the front strut towers. This additional reinforcement dramatically increases chassis stiffness and helps provide more consistent handling during spirited street driving, drag racing, and aggressive cornering. Even with mild levels of horsepower and torque, BMR notes that the Camaro chassis can experience significant flex. When the chassis deflects under load, some suspension input can be absorbed through movement of the vehicle's structure rather than being translated directly into predictable suspension response. • Does NOT fit V6-equipped Camaro models.
• Does NOT fit 4-cylinder Turbo Camaro models.
• Does NOT fit Camaro ZL1 models.
• Does NOT fit aftermarket superchargers. This is an important underhood-clearance restriction specifically stated by BMR.
• Based on BMR's stated exclusions, STB019 should be treated as a V8, non-ZL1 application.
