DESCRIPTION:
Add valuable caster and camber adjustability to your coilover-equipped 2016-2023 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension WAK361 Caster/Camber Plates. Designed specifically for sixth-generation Camaros using coilover suspension systems, the WAK361 provides substantially more front alignment adjustment than the factory suspension allows. This makes it an excellent solution for lowered street cars, drag racing builds, autocross cars, and road-course applications where precise front suspension geometry is essential. Lowering a sixth-generation Camaro can push the factory alignment adjustment beyond its usable range, resulting in excessive negative camber that can accelerate tire wear and compromise the tire's contact patch. BMR engineered the WAK361 to address these limitations by increasing available camber adjustment while also adding caster adjustment that is not available through the factory configuration. BMR manufactures the WAK361 from CNC laser-cut steel plate for the strength and rigidity required at the Camaro's upper strut mounting points. The factory strut mount bushings are replaced with high-quality, US-made Teflon-lined spherical bearings. These performance-oriented bearings eliminate much of the compliance associated with conventional strut mount bushings, providing a more precise connection between the suspension and chassis. Once installed, the WAK361 provides a total camber adjustment range of 2.5 degrees. This expanded range allows owners and alignment technicians to optimize the front suspension geometry for the vehicle's intended use. Road-course and autocross cars can use more aggressive alignment settings to maximize the tire contact patch during cornering, while drag racing applications can optimize alignment to help reduce unnecessary drag and rolling resistance. Unlike BMR's WAK360 Caster/Camber Plates, which are intended for factory spring applications, the WAK361 is specifically designed for coilover-equipped Camaros. This distinction is especially important when selecting the correct BMR alignment solution for a modified sixth-generation Camaro. Installation is simplified by the WAK361's 100% bolt-on design. The plates utilize existing factory bolt holes and supplied hardware, eliminating the need for fabrication or permanent chassis modification. BMR states that the kit installs using simple hand tools and estimates installation time at approximately two hours. Available in Black Hammertone or Red powdercoat finishes, the BMR WAK361 combines serious alignment capability with durable corrosion protection and BMR's recognizable performance appearance. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the WAK361 is an excellent suspension and alignment upgrade for coilover-equipped sixth-generation Camaros where increased adjustability, improved tire contact, and precise suspension geometry are priorities.

Important Notes
- Lowering a Camaro can result in excessive negative camber that cannot always be corrected using the factory adjustment range.
- WAK361 increases available camber adjustment and adds caster adjustment that is not available from the factory.
- For lowered street cars, increased adjustment can help correct excessive negative camber and reduce unwanted tire wear.
- Spherical bearings provide substantially less compliance than conventional factory strut mount bushings, creating a more precise upper suspension mounting point.
- Because spherical bearings provide less isolation than factory-style rubber mounts, some increase in noise, vibration, or harshness may occur compared with the original suspension.
- A professional four-wheel alignment should be performed after installation.
- Final caster, camber, and toe settings should be selected based on the Camaro's ride height, tire size, coilover configuration, driving conditions, and intended use.
- Street-driven vehicles should generally prioritize predictable handling and tire life, while competition vehicles can utilize more aggressive alignment specifications appropriate for their application.
- After alignment, verify adequate tire-to-suspension, tire-to-fender, and wheel-to-suspension clearance through the vehicle's normal steering and suspension travel.
- Periodic inspection of the spherical bearings and mounting hardware is recommended, especially on vehicles subjected to frequent track or competition use.
