DESCRIPTION:

Add valuable caster and camber adjustability to your 2016-2023 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension WAK360 Caster/Camber Plates for Factory Springs. Designed specifically for sixth-generation Camaros using factory-style spring and strut configurations, the WAK360 provides substantially more front alignment adjustment than the factory suspension allows. This makes the kit an excellent solution for lowered street cars as well as drag racing, autocross, and road-course applications requiring more aggressive alignment settings. Lowering a sixth-generation Camaro can push the factory alignment adjustment beyond its usable range, potentially leaving excessive negative camber that can accelerate tire wear and reduce the tire's effective contact patch. BMR engineered the WAK360 to address this limitation by increasing available camber adjustment while also adding caster adjustment—an adjustment that is not available through the Camaro's factory configuration. BMR manufactures the WAK360 from CNC laser-cut steel plate for the strength and rigidity required at the upper strut mounting points. Rather than retaining the factory rubber-style strut mount bushings, BMR replaces them with high-quality, US-made Teflon-lined spherical bearings. These bearings reduce unwanted compliance and provide a more precise connection between the strut and chassis, helping the suspension maintain more consistent geometry during performance driving. Once installed, the WAK360 provides a total camber adjustment range of 2.5 degrees. This expanded range allows owners and alignment technicians to optimize front suspension geometry for the vehicle's intended use. Road-course and autocross cars can utilize more aggressive negative camber to maximize tire contact during cornering, while drag racing applications can be configured to reduce unnecessary rolling resistance. Street-driven lowered Camaros can use the additional adjustment to bring alignment specifications back into a more tire-friendly range. The WAK360 is specifically designed for spring applications and works with both stock struts and factory-style aftermarket struts. Camaro owners running coilovers should instead consider BMR's WAK361 Caster/Camber Plates, which BMR identifies as its coilover-specific version. Installation is simplified by a 100% bolt-on design that uses existing factory bolt holes and supplied hardware. No fabrication is required, and BMR states that installation can be completed using simple hand tools in approximately two hours. This allows Camaro owners to substantially increase front alignment adjustability without cutting or permanently modifying the chassis. Available in Black Hammertone or Red powdercoat finishes, the BMR WAK360 combines serious alignment capability with durable corrosion protection and BMR's recognizable performance appearance. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the WAK360 is an excellent alignment and suspension upgrade for lowered street Camaros, drag cars, and handling-focused sixth-generation Camaro builds.

Important Notes

  • BMR designed the WAK360 to address insufficient factory alignment adjustment on lowered sixth-generation Camaros.
  • Lowering a Camaro can create excessive negative camber that cannot always be corrected using the factory adjustment range.
  • WAK360 increases available camber adjustment while also adding caster adjustment that is not available from the factory.
  • Additional camber adjustment can be used to help maximize tire contact patch during road-course and handling applications.
  • For lowered street cars, the increased adjustment range can help correct excessive negative camber and reduce unwanted tire wear.
  • Spherical bearings provide substantially less compliance than factory rubber-style mounts, creating a more precise suspension mounting point.
  • Because spherical bearings provide less isolation than factory mounts, some increase in noise, vibration, or harshness may be possible compared with the original suspension.
  • A professional four-wheel alignment should be performed after installation.
  • Final caster, camber, and toe settings should be selected based on tire size, ride height, suspension configuration, and intended vehicle use.
  • Street cars should generally prioritize tire wear and stability, while competition vehicles can utilize more aggressive alignment specifications appropriate for their application.
  • Periodic inspection of the spherical bearings and mounting hardware is recommended, particularly on vehicles subjected to frequent track use.
