DESCRIPTION:

Bring a polished performance look and improved airflow to your Camaro V6 with the K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake, part number 69-4535TP. Designed for 2016–2024 Chevrolet Camaro LS/LT models equipped with the 3.6L engine, this system replaces the factory airbox and intake tube with an oversized filter and mandrel-bent aluminum tubing. K&N’s dyno testing on a stock 2016 Camaro measured estimated gains of 21.33 horsepower at 5,900 RPM and 11.76 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 RPM, supporting stronger performance alongside a more noticeable intake sound. The aluminum tube features a bright mirrored finish, while the red oiled cotton-gauze filter can be washed and reused. A heat shield mounts in the original airbox location, and the supplied fittings reconnect the factory EVAP and crankcase ventilation lines. Installation transfers the original MAF sensor, uses the factory mounting grommets, and allows the decorative engine cover to be reinstalled. Couplers, clamps, and mounting hardware complete the assembly for a finished upgrade under the hood.

The factory sound-tube assembly is removed, and the remaining connection is capped using supplied components.
Some trimming of the supplied heat-shield edge trim is required.
K&N lists up to 100,000 miles between filter cleanings under normal highway conditions. Inspect every 25,000 miles and clean sooner in dusty environments.
Service the filter with K&N Recharger kit 99-5000 or 99-5050, following the cleaning and re-oiling instructions.
Retain the factory intake parts and periodically inspect system clearance and connection tightness.
