DESCRIPTION:

Add a polished performance upgrade to your Camaro’s engine bay with the K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake, part number 69-4534TP. Designed for 2016–2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L models, this system replaces the factory air filter, housing, and intake tube with an oversized filter and mandrel-bent aluminum tubing. K&N lists estimated gains of 15.16 horsepower at 4,833 RPM and 20.1 lb-ft of torque, with development testing performed on an otherwise stock 2016 Camaro SS. The polished tube directs filtered air toward the throttle body, while a heat shield positions the washable red cotton-gauze filter in the original airbox location. The system retains the factory MAF sensor and crankcase ventilation connection and produces a deeper intake sound during acceleration. Supplied couplers, stainless steel clamps, and mounting hardware support installation, while the reusable filter can be cleaned and re-oiled for continued service.

Installation removes the factory sound-tube assembly and caps the remaining connection using supplied components.
The 100,000-mile filter-cleaning interval applies to normal highway conditions. Inspect the filter every 25,000 miles and clean more frequently in dusty conditions.
Use K&N Recharger kit 99-5000 or 99-5050 to clean and re-oil the filter.
