DESCRIPTION:

Give your Camaro SS a darker engine-bay finish and increased airflow with the K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake, part number 71-3092. Designed for 2016–2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L applications, this system replaces the factory intake with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube and reusable DRYFLOW filter. K&N lists estimated gains of 20.68 horsepower at 4,805 RPM and 28.1 lb-ft of torque, while the intake design also enhances throttle response and engine sound. The textured black powder-coated tube, black filter, and matching components create a coordinated appearance. A steel heat shield helps protect incoming air from engine-bay heat, while the layered synthetic filter provides filtration without oil. The assembly uses the original airbox mounting points, retains the factory MAF sensor and crankcase ventilation connection, and includes installation hardware. Its washable filter simplifies servicing.

Important Notes

Intended for Camaro SS models equipped with the 6.2L V8.
The DRYFLOW synthetic filter must not be oiled. K&N specifies Synthetic Filter Cleaner 99-0624 for servicing.
K&N lists a 50,000-mile cleaning interval under normal highway conditions. Inspect every 25,000 miles and clean more frequently in dusty environments.
Installation removes the factory sound-tube assembly and caps the remaining connection using supplied components.
Retain the original intake parts and periodically check mounting alignment, clearance, and connection tightness.
This system is not legal for sale or use in California on pollution-controlled motor vehicles.
