DESCRIPTION:

Improve sway bar effectiveness, reduce end-link deflection, and gain greater front suspension adjustability on your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension Adjustable Front Sway Bar End Link Kit featuring Part Number ELK016. Designed as a heavy-duty replacement for the factory front sway bar end links, the ELK016 uses fully CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum construction combined with Proforged ball-joint-style tie rods to provide increased strength, articulation, and adjustability for street performance, autocross, and road racing applications. Sway bar end links are subjected to significant compression loads during aggressive cornering, especially when the vehicle is equipped with higher-rate aftermarket sway bars such as BMR's SB050 or SB053. BMR notes that factory end links can bend or break under increased loads, while end-link deflection effectively reduces the amount of sway bar rate transferred into the suspension. The heavy-duty ELK016 is designed to dramatically reduce this deflection, allowing the sway bar to operate more effectively and helping minimize unwanted body roll. BMR manufactures the ELK016 from CNC-machined billet aluminum hex-bar stock. The links utilize right- and left-hand-threaded Proforged ball-joint-style tie rods, which provide greater articulation than conventional rod-end-style designs. The ball joints are also greaseable, helping promote long service life, smooth operation, and reduced noise compared with typical rod ends. The ball joints attach to the sway bar using 12mm studs and connect to the end-link tubes with 1/2-inch studs, creating a substantial increase in strength compared with the factory end links. The ELK016's on-car adjustable design is particularly beneficial for lowered Camaros and vehicles equipped with adjustable sway bars. By changing the effective length of the end links, installers can correct sway bar geometry and working angles after ride-height changes. The adjustable design can also be used to preload the sway bar, allowing experienced drivers and chassis tuners to further fine-tune suspension balance for specific street, autocross, or road-course conditions. Finished in a durable Black Anodized coating, the BMR ELK016 combines strength, adjustability, and corrosion-resistant styling in a purpose-built front suspension upgrade. BMR estimates installation at approximately one hour and proudly designs and manufactures the ELK016 in the USA. For sixth-generation Camaro owners looking to maximize front sway bar effectiveness while adding adjustability and substantially stronger hardware, the BMR ELK016 Adjustable Front Sway Bar End Link Kit provides an excellent complement to both factory and performance sway bar setups.

Important Notes

  • Fits 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro applications.
  • This listing is for the front sway bar end link kit only.
  • For a complete front and rear adjustable end-link package, BMR offers Part Number ELK015.
  • BMR Part Number ELK017 is the corresponding adjustable rear sway bar end link kit.
  • ELK016 features fully CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum construction.
  • Front links utilize Proforged ball-joint-style tie rods.
  • Proforged ball joints provide greater articulation than conventional rod ends.
  • Ball joints are greaseable for long service life and smooth operation.
  • BMR states that its ball-joint-style design operates with less noise than typical rod-end-style end links.
  • The heavy-duty design is intended to reduce deflection compared with factory end links.
  • BMR specifically recommends the ELK016 as an upgrade when using higher-rate aftermarket front sway bars such as the SB050 or SB053.
  • On-car adjustability allows sway bar geometry and working angles to be corrected on lowered Camaros.
  • Adjustable end links can also be used to preload the sway bar for advanced suspension tuning.
  • For a neutral setup without intentional preload, BMR instructs installers to adjust one link using the OE end link as a length reference, install it, and then adjust the opposite link until it naturally fits the mounting points.
  • BMR recommends contacting its technical department for information regarding intentional sway bar preloading.
  • All tie rods should be greased following installation according to BMR's installation instructions.
  • End-link length should be adjusted carefully to maintain proper sway bar geometry and adequate thread engagement.
  • Lowering springs, coilovers, adjustable sway bars, and other suspension modifications can change the ideal front end-link length.
  • Incorrect sway bar preload can alter the vehicle's handling balance and should only be used intentionally as part of a properly developed suspension setup.
  • Durable Black Anodized finish provides corrosion resistance and a clean performance appearance.
  • BMR estimates installation time at approximately one hour.
  • Professional installation is recommended for customers unfamiliar with suspension setup, sway bar geometry, or sway bar preload adjustment.
