DESCRIPTION:
Improve rear sway bar effectiveness, reduce end-link deflection, and gain additional suspension tuning capability on your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension Adjustable Rear Sway Bar End Link Kit featuring Part Number ELK017. Designed as a heavy-duty replacement for the factory rear sway bar end links, the ELK017 combines CNC-machined billet steel construction, heavy-duty Teflon-lined rod ends, and greasable polyurethane bushings to provide increased strength and more precise sway bar operation. BMR designed the kit for street performance, autocross, and road racing applications. Sway bar end links experience substantial loads during aggressive cornering, particularly when paired with higher-rate aftermarket sway bars such as BMR's SB051 non-adjustable or SB054 adjustable rear sway bars. BMR notes that factory end links can bend, break, or deflect under increased loads. Because end-link deflection effectively reduces the amount of sway bar rate transferred into the suspension, this can result in additional body roll and reduced handling response. The heavy-duty ELK017 is designed to dramatically reduce this deflection, allowing the rear sway bar to operate closer to its full potential. BMR CNC-machines the ELK017 from billet steel bar stock and equips the links with heavy-duty Teflon-lined rod ends. Greasable 95-durometer polyurethane bushings provide a durable, low-deflection connection while maintaining serviceability for long-term use. The rod ends attach at the sway bar using 12mm studs, while BMR supplies the necessary hardware for installation. Together, these components provide a significant increase in strength compared with the factory rear end links. One of the ELK017's biggest advantages is its adjustable design. Changing end-link length allows the installer to correct sway bar geometry and working angles on lowered Camaros or vehicles equipped with adjustable sway bars. The links can also be used to intentionally preload the sway bar, giving experienced drivers and chassis tuners another method of fine-tuning suspension balance for specific street, autocross, or road-course setups. When paired with BMR adjustable sway bars, the ELK017 provides additional flexibility when dialing in the Camaro's handling characteristics. Available in BMR's Red or Black Hammertone powder-coated finishes, the ELK017 combines heavy-duty construction with long-lasting corrosion-resistant protection. BMR estimates installation at approximately one hour and proudly manufactures the kit in the USA. For sixth-generation Camaro owners looking to strengthen the rear sway bar connection, minimize deflection, and add adjustment capability, the BMR ELK017 Adjustable Rear Sway Bar End Link Kit provides a purpose-built performance upgrade.

Important Notes
- This listing is for the rear sway bar end link kit only.
- Includes two (2) rear adjustable sway bar end links.
- For front adjustable sway bar end links, BMR offers Part Number ELK016 separately.
- For a complete set of four front and rear adjustable sway bar end links, BMR offers Part Number ELK015.
- ELK017 is CNC-machined from billet steel bar stock.
- Features heavy-duty Teflon-lined rod ends.
- Features greasable 95-durometer polyurethane bushings.
- Fully TIG-welded construction provides strength for demanding performance applications.
- Rod ends attach to the sway bar using 12mm studs.
- The heavy-duty construction is designed to dramatically reduce deflection compared with the factory rear sway bar end links.
- BMR specifically references the ELK017 as an upgraded end-link solution when using higher-rate rear sway bars such as the SB051 or SB054.
- Adjustable length allows rear sway bar geometry and working angles to be corrected on lowered Camaros.
- Adjustable end links can also be used to intentionally preload the sway bar for advanced suspension tuning.
- Sway bar preload can affect chassis balance and should be adjusted intentionally as part of a properly developed suspension setup.
- BMR's installation instructions specify adjusting both rear end links to match one another before installation.
- During installation, BMR specifies that the offset lower bushing should be positioned with its narrow side farthest from the outer knuckle.
- BMR supplies a 10mm x 60mm bolt and washer for the lower bushing mounting location.
- BMR recommends Blue Loctite on the supplied lower mounting bolt.
- BMR specifies a torque value of 33 ft-lbs. for the supplied lower end-link mounting bolt.
- After installation, BMR instructs users to grease the fittings in the lower bushings with a synthetic water-resistant grease.
- Greasable components should be periodically inspected and lubricated as part of normal suspension maintenance.
- Lowering springs, coilovers, adjustable sway bars, and other suspension modifications can change the ideal rear end-link length.
- Proper end-link adjustment should maintain adequate thread engagement and correct sway bar geometry throughout suspension travel.
- Installation requires safely raising the rear of the vehicle and removing both rear wheels and tires.
- Professional installation is recommended for customers unfamiliar with suspension setup, sway bar geometry, or sway bar preload adjustment.
