Designed to reinforce the rear section of the sixth-generation Camaro's rear cradle, the CB009 connects the cradle to the vehicle's frame using lightweight yet heavy-duty 1-1/4-inch chrome-moly tubing. By strengthening this critical mounting area, BMR's chassis brace greatly reduces cradle deflection and provides a more rigid foundation for the rear suspension during hard acceleration, launches, and aggressive driving. Cradle movement is one of the major contributors to wheel hop in the sixth-generation Camaro. Under hard acceleration, movement between the rear cradle and chassis can allow the suspension mounting points to shift rather than keeping the rear suspension firmly located.
