DESCRIPTION:
Eliminate rear cradle movement, greatly reduce wheel hop, and maximize chassis stability on your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension Delrin Rear Cradle Bushing Kit featuring Part Number BK062. Developed for max-effort street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, the BK062 completely replaces the compliant factory rubber rear cradle bushings with solid two-piece Delrin bushings. This creates a substantially more rigid connection between the Camaro's rear cradle and chassis for improved control and consistency during aggressive driving. The factory sixth-generation Camaro rear cradle bushings are manufactured from soft rubber with large air pockets or voids intended to isolate noise, vibration, and harshness. While this construction benefits everyday comfort, it allows unwanted cradle movement during acceleration, braking, and cornering. This movement can contribute to wheel hop and inconsistent rear suspension behavior. BMR's BK062 eliminates the factory rubber bushings entirely, replacing them with CNC-machined Delrin components engineered to remove this unwanted deflection. Delrin is well suited to high-performance suspension applications because of its high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. BMR CNC-machines each BK062 bushing to exact tolerances for precise fitment. Unlike softer rubber or polyurethane bushings, the solid two-piece Delrin construction is designed to remove movement between the rear cradle and chassis, providing a rigid platform from which the rear suspension can operate. By eliminating rear cradle bushing deflection, the BK062 helps maintain more consistent suspension geometry as loads are transferred through the chassis. BMR states that the kit greatly reduces wheel hop and increases handling stability while providing improved overall feel during performance driving. Zinc-coated inner sleeves complement the Delrin bushings to provide a durable, performance-oriented mounting solution. The BK062 is available exclusively in Black and is designed for Camaro owners where maximum chassis control takes priority over factory levels of NVH isolation. BMR lists installation time at approximately 3-4 hours, although actual installation time can vary depending on the technique and equipment used to remove the original cradle bushings. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the BK062 provides a serious rear suspension upgrade for high-performance street, drag race, autocross, and road-course Camaro builds.

Important Notes
- This kit completely replaces the factory rear cradle bushings.
- BK062 is not an insert-style bushing kit.
- The original factory rubber cradle bushings must be completely removed during installation.
- BMR uses solid two-piece Delrin bushings to replace the soft factory rubber bushings.
- Delrin is selected for its high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability.
- Each bushing is CNC-machined to exact BMR-designed tolerances.
- Includes zinc-coated inner sleeves.
- BMR states that the BK062 eliminates bushing deflection and removes movement between the rear cradle and chassis.
- Eliminating cradle movement helps greatly reduce wheel hop.
- Increased rear cradle rigidity provides a more stable platform from which the rear suspension can operate.
- Designed specifically for max-effort street performance, drag racing, and handling applications.
- BMR specifically positions the BK062 for sixth-generation Camaros where NVH is not a primary concern.
- Replacing compliant factory rubber with solid Delrin will transmit more noise, vibration, and harshness into the chassis than the factory mounting arrangement.
- BMR states that Delrin eliminates deflection with a moderate increase in NVH.
- Customers primarily concerned with maintaining factory ride isolation should consider the additional NVH before choosing solid Delrin cradle bushings.
- BMR lists installation time at approximately 3-4 hours, although actual time can vary depending on the factory bushing removal technique.
- Appropriate lifting equipment and suspension experience are strongly recommended due to the extent of the rear cradle work required.
- A professional wheel alignment is recommended after installation because the rear cradle and suspension locating points are disturbed during the bushing replacement process.
- BK062 is the more performance-focused choice for customers looking to eliminate factory cradle bushing deflection rather than simply reduce it.
- Professional installation is strongly recommended for customers unfamiliar with rear cradle removal and suspension bushing replacement.
