By eliminating the deflection inherent in the factory rubber bushings, BMR's BK069 provides a more precise suspension mounting point for improved performance during acceleration, cornering, and aggressive driving. The factory rear upper control arm bushings use soft rubber primarily to isolate noise, vibration, and harshness. While this construction benefits everyday ride comfort, the compliant rubber can deflect considerably as suspension loads increase. Instead of maintaining a rigid relationship between suspension components, the factory bushings can absorb movement that would otherwise be controlled by the suspension.
