Designed for high-performance street driving, Hawk’s HPS 5.0 Ferro-Carbon compound provides increased brake torque, shorter stopping distances, and improved pedal feel while retaining the smooth, predictable characteristics needed for everyday street use. HPS 5.0 provides greater brake torque and temperature capability than Hawk’s standard HPS compound without the noise and heavy brake dust typically associated with more aggressive racing pads. The compound operates from 100°F to 750°F, with an optimal temperature range of 100°F to 550°F, making it well suited for spirited street driving and limited light track use.

Important Notes

• Fits 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS models with the applicable 4-piston rear brake system.
• Will not fit 2022-2024 Camaro models equipped with RPO BCD California/Washington copper-free brake systems.
• HPS 5.0 is primarily a high-performance street compound. Can handle light track use with proper temperature management but is not intended for prolonged high-temperature racing sessions.
• Hawk Performance compounds are designed for iron/metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon-ceramic rotors.
