DESCRIPTION:

Convert your 2023+ C8 Corvette Z06 or E-Ray from factory carbon ceramic front rotors to a high-performance iron setup with the Girodisc A1-320 2-Piece Iron Conversion Front Rotors. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory carbon ceramic front rotors, these fully floating assemblies retain the factory brake calipers while providing the durability and serviceability of a two-piece iron rotor system. The rotor rings are machined from Girodisc's proprietary high-carbon iron casting and feature 72 curved internal vanes that act as a centrifugal pump to pull cooling air through the rotor during hard braking. Each rotor uses a reusable 6061-T6 aluminum center hat with a black anodized finish, along with high-strength steel alloy drive pins that are cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. The serviceable two-piece design allows worn friction rings to be replaced separately with Girodisc D1-320 replacement rings while retaining the aluminum center hats, making the A1-320 an excellent option for performance street and track-driven Corvettes.

Important Notes

• The factory calipers are retained, but a different brake pad shape is required when converting from the carbon ceramic system. Girodisc specifies the D1405 pad shape, which is also used on the Z06 without the Z07 package.
• Girodisc recommends replacing the rotor rings at a minimum thickness of 34mm or if a crack reaches the outer edge of the ring.
• D1-320 is the corresponding replacement front rotor ring set.
