DESCRIPTION:

Upgrade the rear braking system of your 2023+ C8 Corvette Z06 or E-Ray with the Girodisc A2-319 2-Piece Rear Rotors. Designed as a direct replacement for the rear rotors on C8 Z06 models with either factory iron brakes or the Z07 carbon ceramic brake system, these fully floating assemblies reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass while providing excellent durability and heat management for performance street and track use. The rotor rings are machined from Girodisc's proprietary high-carbon iron casting and feature 72 curved internal vanes that act as a centrifugal pump, drawing cooling air through the hub during hard braking. Each rotor uses a reusable 6061-T6 aluminum center hat with a black anodized finish and high-strength steel alloy drive pins that are cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. The serviceable two-piece design allows worn friction rings to be replaced separately using Girodisc D2-319 replacement rings while retaining the aluminum center hats, helping reduce long-term replacement costs for performance and track-driven Corvettes.

Important Notes

Z06 models equipped with Z07 carbon ceramic brakes must use the rear brake pad shape from a factory iron-brake Z06 when installing these rotors.
Replace the rotor rings when they reach a minimum thickness of 32mm or if a crack reaches the edge of the ring.
D2-319 is the corresponding replacement rear rotor ring set, allowing the aluminum center hats to be reused.

Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY: Purchaser acknowledges the Product is for off-road racing use only. The nature of off road racing involves significant risk, and the conditions under which the Product is used and types of use of the Product are many depending on factors such as installation and use. Due to the inherent risk of the activity in which the Product is used, the Purchaser understands and agrees the Seller provides a limited warranty for the Product, specifically, the warranty is limited to the following specification: less than .0015” runout and less than .0003”disc thickness variation. If Purchaser provides Seller with written notice of any condition inconsistent with the specification set forth above on or before six (6) months from the date of delivery and complies with the return requirements set forth in Section 6, then Seller will, at its election either: (a) Provide a replacement Product, or (b) Refund the purchase price. This limited warranty does not cover, and Seller will not pay for, or provide, labor or materials that which may be necessary to remove a Product or install a replacement Product. This warranty is limited to the exchange of the Product or return of the purchase price. Further, this warranty shall not apply to any Product that: (a) Is not in its original condition whatever the cause; or (b) Is not installed and operated in accordance with the standard instructions and specifications.
