DESCRIPTION:

Launch harder, reduce wheel hop, and improve cornering consistency on your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension On-Car Adjustable Lower Trailing Arms featuring Part Number TCA061. Designed as a high-performance replacement for the factory stamped-steel trailing arms and soft rubber bushings, the TCA061 combines heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing with premium X-Series rod ends and an on-car adjustable design. This combination eliminates trailing arm flex and bushing deflection while providing the precise, bind-free suspension articulation needed for demanding street, drag racing, and road racing applications. The factory sixth-generation Camaro lower trailing arms use stamped-steel construction and compliant rubber bushings. While this design helps isolate noise, vibration, and harshness, the factory components can flex and deflect under acceleration and cornering loads. Instead of transferring power efficiently to the tires, some of that energy can be absorbed through trailing arm flex and bushing movement. According to BMR, this combination can also produce inconsistent handling characteristics as loads increase. BMR manufactures the TCA061 from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing with TIG-welded chrome-moly tube adapters. The significantly more rigid construction eliminates the trailing arm flex associated with the factory components, providing improved suspension repeatability whether the Camaro is accelerating on the street, launching at the drag strip, or being pushed through corners. Instead of conventional rubber or polyurethane bushings, the TCA061 utilizes heavy-duty, zinc-plated, two-piece X-Series rod ends manufactured from heat-treated chrome-moly steel. These rod ends are self-lubricating and feature Teflon liners for smooth, bind-free suspension articulation. BMR also incorporates custom-designed 304 stainless steel rod-end spacers, creating a durable mounting arrangement designed to reduce deflection and increase suspension articulation. A major advantage of the TCA061 over fixed-length or single-adjustable alternatives is its on-car adjustable design. This configuration allows enthusiasts and racers to fine-tune the trailing arms while they remain installed on the vehicle, simplifying suspension setup changes. BMR states that the rod-end design provides the fine-tuning capability and bind-free articulation necessary for superior handling at any power level. BMR designed the TCA061 for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications. Available in Red or Black Hammertone powdercoat finishes, these trailing arms combine serious suspension performance with a durable, long-lasting finish. Installation time is approximately one hour, and BMR proudly designs and manufactures the TCA061 in the USA.

Important Notes

  • This listing is for BMR's On-Car Adjustable Lower Trailing Arms with rod ends.
  • TCA061 is an on-car adjustable design, allowing suspension fine-tuning without the inconvenience of removing a trailing arm for adjustment.
  • Eliminating flex and bushing deflection provides a more direct and controlled rear suspension connection.
  • The design provides reduced deflection and increased suspension articulation compared with the factory trailing arm arrangement.
  • According to BMR, the factory stamped-steel trailing arms can flex under cornering loads, resulting in inconsistent handling characteristics.
  • BMR's rod ends provide fine-tuning capability along with bind-free suspension articulation for performance handling.
  • Because the TCA061 uses rod ends rather than compliant factory rubber bushings, additional noise, vibration, and harshness may be transmitted into the chassis compared with the factory trailing arms.
  • Rod-end suspension components are best suited for performance-oriented vehicles where suspension precision, articulation, and reduced deflection are priorities.
  • Because trailing arm adjustment can affect rear suspension setup and geometry, a professional four-wheel alignment should be performed or verified after installation and adjustment.
  • Any future changes to trailing arm length should be followed by verification of the vehicle's alignment and suspension settings.
  • Professional installation is recommended for customers unfamiliar with adjustable rear suspension components.
