DESCRIPTION:
Launch harder, reduce wheel hop, and improve cornering consistency on your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension Non-Adjustable Lower Trailing Arms featuring Part Number TCA059. Designed as a performance upgrade over the factory stamped-steel trailing arms, the TCA059 combines heavy-duty boxed-steel construction with high-durometer polyurethane bushings to dramatically reduce trailing arm flex and greatly reduce bushing deflection. The result is a stronger, more responsive rear suspension connection that helps transfer power to the tires while maintaining acceptable noise, vibration, and harshness levels for street-driven vehicles. The Camaro's factory stamped-steel lower trailing arms and soft rubber bushings are designed with compliance for everyday ride comfort. Under hard acceleration, launching, and cornering loads, however, the factory arms can flex while the rubber bushings deflect. Instead of transferring drivetrain and suspension loads efficiently, this movement can absorb power and contribute to inconsistent handling. BMR developed the TCA059 to address both sources of unwanted movement while retaining a street-friendly polyurethane bushing configuration. BMR manufactures the TCA059 from heavy-duty 1 x 1.5-inch boxed steel tubing. The open end of each trailing arm is constructed from CNC laser-cut and CNC-formed 3/16-inch steel plate, while MIG-welded construction provides the strength needed for demanding performance use. The TCA059 is manufactured to factory length, making it a direct non-adjustable performance replacement that focuses on reducing flex and improving suspension consistency rather than providing additional geometry adjustment. The TCA059 replaces the compliant factory rubber bushings with greasable 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. BMR internally flutes these bushings to allow grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve while directing lubricant toward the outer edges and thrust surfaces. This lubrication system helps promote quiet and reliable operation throughout the life of the bushings while reducing the deflection associated with the softer factory rubber components. BMR specifically engineers its polyurethane bushings to provide a balance between performance and street manners. The bushings are compliant enough to absorb a reasonable amount of NVH and maintain comfortable ride characteristics, yet firm enough to withstand the high compression loads generated during hard launches and aggressive acceleration. They also retain sufficient articulation for performance handling, making the TCA059 well suited for Camaros that see a combination of street, drag strip, and road-course use. By dramatically reducing trailing arm flex and greatly reducing bushing deflection, the TCA059 provides more repeatable rear suspension behavior whether accelerating from a stop, launching at the drag strip, or pushing the Camaro through corners. Available in Red or Black Hammertone powdercoat finishes, the TCA059 provides durable protection and BMR's recognizable performance appearance. BMR lists installation time at approximately one hour and proudly designs and manufactures these trailing arms in the USA.

Important Notes
- This listing is for BMR's non-adjustable lower trailing arms with polyurethane bushings.
- TCA059 is manufactured to factory length and does not provide trailing-arm-length adjustment.
- The open end is constructed from CNC laser-cut and CNC-formed 3/16-inch steel plate.
- MIG-welded construction provides additional strength for demanding performance applications.
- BMR designed the TCA059 to dramatically reduce trailing arm flex compared with the factory stamped-steel arms.
- The factory trailing arms can flex under cornering loads, which can contribute to inconsistent handling characteristics.
- Reducing trailing arm flex helps improve suspension repeatability on the street, at the starting line, and through corners.
- The flutes also direct grease toward the outer edge of the bushing to keep the thrust surfaces lubricated.
- Proper lubrication helps promote quiet, reliable operation throughout the life of the bushings.
- BMR designed the polyurethane bushings to remain compliant enough for comfortable street operation and NVH absorption while being firm enough for performance use.
- The polyurethane bushings are designed to handle high compression loads associated with hard launches and aggressive acceleration.
- Polyurethane suspension bushings should be properly lubricated during installation and periodically inspected as part of normal suspension maintenance.
- Because TCA059 is built to factory length, its primary purpose is improving strength and reducing suspension deflection rather than providing additional suspension geometry adjustment.
- TCA059 is the more street-oriented option for customers who want substantially stronger lower trailing arms and reduced bushing deflection while retaining polyurethane bushings and more acceptable NVH characteristics.
- Professional installation is recommended for customers unfamiliar with rear suspension component replacement.
