DESCRIPTION:
Eliminate rear control arm flex and improve suspension control on your coilover-equipped 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension LCA361 Non-Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms. Designed specifically for sixth-generation Camaros using coilovers, the LCA361 replaces the factory stamped-steel rear lower control arms with heavy-duty 2-inch square tubing for a stronger, more rigid suspension connection. The Camaro's factory stamped-steel lower control arms and soft rubber bushings are designed with street comfort in mind, but that compliance can become a disadvantage as performance increases. BMR states that the factory control arms and bushings can deflect under load, absorbing power rather than efficiently transferring it to the tires. This unwanted movement can reduce rear suspension consistency during hard acceleration, aggressive cornering, and other high-load driving situations. BMR engineered the LCA361 to eliminate control arm flex by replacing the factory stamped components with heavy-duty 2-inch square tubing. The significantly more rigid construction helps maintain a stable relationship between the rear suspension components under load, allowing the suspension to work more consistently and improving overall suspension control. Unlike adjustable rear control arms intended for vehicles requiring additional suspension geometry tuning, the LCA361 uses a non-adjustable design. This makes it an excellent choice for Camaro owners who want the increased strength and reduced deflection of an aftermarket lower control arm without adding unnecessary adjustment points to their suspension setup. An especially important distinction is that the LCA361 is designed specifically for coilover applications. BMR designed the LCA361 for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications, making it suitable for everything from aggressively driven street cars to dedicated competition builds. By reducing unwanted control arm movement, these arms help provide a more rigid foundation from which the rear suspension can operate and transfer power to the tires. Available in BMR's durable Red or Black Hammertone powdercoat finishes, the LCA361 combines heavy-duty construction with long-lasting corrosion protection and BMR's recognizable performance appearance. BMR lists installation time at approximately 2-3 hours. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the LCA361 is a strong rear suspension upgrade for coilover-equipped sixth-generation Camaros where reduced flex and improved suspension control are priorities.

Important Notes
- The factory Camaro lower control arms use stamped-steel construction with soft rubber bushings.
- Factory control arms and soft rubber bushings can deflect under load and absorb power rather than transferring it to the tires.
- Reduced suspension deflection can help provide more consistent rear suspension behavior during hard acceleration and performance driving.
- For drag racing applications, reducing rear suspension deflection helps ensure that more of the drivetrain's force is transferred through the suspension and toward the tires instead of being absorbed by flexing suspension components.
- For handling and road racing applications, the increased rigidity helps the rear suspension operate from a more consistent platform.
- After installation, inspect all suspension hardware and verify that the coilovers have adequate clearance throughout the suspension's operating range.
- Any vehicle with aftermarket wheels, tires, brakes, coilovers, or additional suspension modifications should be checked for adequate clearance before driving.
- A professional suspension inspection and alignment are recommended after significant rear suspension modifications.
