Designed specifically for sixth-generation Camaros using coilovers, the LCA361 replaces the factory stamped-steel rear lower control arms with heavy-duty 2-inch square tubing for a stronger, more rigid suspension connection. The Camaro's factory stamped-steel lower control arms and soft rubber bushings are designed with street comfort in mind, but that compliance can become a disadvantage as performance increases. BMR states that the factory control arms and bushings can deflect under load, absorbing power rather than efficiently transferring it to the tires.
