Designed specifically for sixth-generation Camaros using rear coilovers, the LCA362 replaces the factory stamped-steel lower control arms with heavy-duty 2-inch square steel tubing, creating a stronger and more rigid foundation for serious street, drag racing, and road racing applications. The Camaro's factory stamped-steel rear lower control arms utilize soft rubber bushings that prioritize comfort and isolation. Under hard acceleration and aggressive driving, however, BMR notes that these factory components can deflect under load and absorb power instead of efficiently transferring it to the tires. The LCA362 is engineered to eliminate this unwanted control arm flex, helping the rear suspension respond more consistently as loads increase. BMR manufactures the LCA362 from heavy-duty 2-inch square steel tubing. This rigid construction substantially strengthens the lower shock/control arm position compared with the factory stamped-steel component. Reducing flex allows the rear suspension and coilover to operate from a more stable mounting point, improving suspension control and helping the Camaro deliver more predictable performance on the street or track. The major difference between the LCA362 and BMR's non-adjustable LCA361 is adjustability.
