DESCRIPTION:

Upgrade the track braking performance of your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS with Hawk Performance HB787G.582 DTC-60 Motorsports Front Brake Pads. Developed for high-temperature competition use, the DTC-60 compound delivers high brake torque with excellent modulation, release characteristics, and stable friction output for demanding track environments. Hawk positions DTC-60 for vehicles experiencing high deceleration rates and recommends it for experienced track drivers who need more temperature capability and bite than less aggressive compounds can provide. The DTC-60 compound operates across a broad 400°F to 1600°F temperature range and is engineered to provide strong braking performance while maintaining very low abrasive rotor wear. For the HB787G.582 application, the pad measures 0.582-inch thick and is designed for the Camaro SS front brake configuration.

Important Notes

• Fits applicable 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS models with the 4-piston front brake configuration.
• Will not fit 2022-2024 Camaro models equipped with RPO BCD California/Washington copper-free brakes.
• DTC-60 is a dedicated motorsports/race compound. Should not be used as a street brake pad.
• Hawk brake pad compounds are designed for iron/metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon-ceramic rotors.
• Proper motorsports pad bedding is required before competition use. Hawk recommends gradually building brake temperature and allowing the system to cool completely after the bedding cycle.
