Engineered for serious competition use, Hawk’s DTC-70 compound delivers extremely high brake torque with an aggressive initial bite for vehicles experiencing repeated high-deceleration braking. Its strong modulation and controlled release characteristics help provide predictable braking response under demanding track conditions. The DTC-70 compound operates across a broad 400°F to 1600°F temperature range and maintains stable friction output at elevated temperatures. Hawk lists an optimal operating range of 600°F to 1200°F, making this compound well suited for experienced drivers requiring substantially more bite and heat capacity than a street or entry-level track pad.

Important Notes

Fits applicable 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS rear brake applications.
Will not fit 2022-2024 Camaro models equipped with RPO BCD California/Washington copper-free brakes.
DTC-70 is a dedicated racing compound and is not recommended for street use.
DTC-70 can be paired with DTC-60 to create a split-friction setup when different front-to-rear brake torque characteristics are desired.
Hawk Performance specifies that its compounds are intended for iron/metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon-ceramic rotors.
Proper motorsports bedding is required. Hawk recommends gradually building brake temperature and allowing the braking system to cool completely before competition use.
