DESCRIPTION:
Reduce dynamic toe change, improve rear alignment stability, and add greater cornering consistency to your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with the BMR Suspension Double-Adjustable Rear Toe Rods featuring Part Number TR007. Designed as a serious performance upgrade over the factory stamped-steel toe rods and eccentric adjustment system, the TR007 combines heavy-duty 1-1/4-inch DOM steel tubing, premium X-Series rod ends, billet aluminum spacers, and dedicated rear toe lockout plates. The result is a much stronger and more precise rear suspension connection with convenient on-car toe adjustment for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications. The factory Camaro toe rods use stamped-steel construction and eccentric adjustment bolts to set rear-wheel toe. Under hard cornering, acceleration, or high-traction launches, the factory toe rods can flex and the eccentric hardware can move, changing rear-wheel alignment while the vehicle is under load. This dynamic toe change can result in inconsistent handling, reduced stability, and difficulty maintaining the desired alignment settings—especially on higher-horsepower vehicles or cars equipped with sticky performance tires. BMR manufactures the TR007 from heavy-duty 1-1/4-inch DOM steel tubing with TIG-welded chrome-moly tube adapters. Heavy-duty right- and left-hand threaded rod ends allow toe adjustments to be made directly on the vehicle without removing the toe rods. This double-adjustable configuration makes it easier to precisely fine-tune rear toe settings for different performance applications while providing substantially greater strength and rigidity than the factory stamped-steel components. The TR007 uses zinc-plated X-Series rod ends manufactured from heat-treated chrome-moly steel. These heavy-duty rod ends are self-lubricating and feature Teflon liners for smooth, bind-free suspension articulation. BMR complements the rod ends with custom-designed 6061-T6 billet aluminum spacers, creating a durable connection designed to withstand the increased loads associated with high horsepower, aggressive cornering, and high-traction tires. An important advantage of the TR007 is BMR's included rear toe lockout plate system. Instead of continuing to rely on the factory eccentric adjustment bolts, the lockout plates eliminate the factory toe adjustment at the inner mounting point and transfer adjustment duties entirely to the BMR toe rod. BMR states that these lockouts minimize toe change and deflection caused by the factory eccentric slipping or losing its adjustment under load. This combination allows the TR007 to dramatically reduce toe rod flex while eliminating eccentric bolt movement and deflection. BMR describes the system as a complete solution for eliminating dynamic toe change at virtually any horsepower level. Finished in your choice of Red or Black Hammertone powdercoat, the TR007 provides long-lasting protection and BMR's recognizable performance appearance. Installation time is approximately two hours, and the toe rods are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.

Important Notes
- The factory toe rods can flex under cornering loads, resulting in inconsistent rear alignment and handling characteristics.
- Factory eccentric toe adjustment bolts can also move or slip under demanding conditions, particularly with sticky tires and increased horsepower.
- BMR specifically designed the TR007 to address both toe rod flex and eccentric adjustment movement rather than correcting only one of these issues.
- Heavy-duty right- and left-hand threaded rod ends allow convenient on-car adjustment.
- The lockout plates eliminate the factory eccentric toe adjustment so rear toe is adjusted through the BMR toe rods instead.
- The lockout system helps prevent eccentric movement from changing the vehicle's toe setting under load.
- BMR describes the TR007 as a complete solution for eliminating dynamic toe change at any horsepower level.
- High-horsepower Camaros equipped with soft-compound or high-traction tires can place considerably greater loads on the factory eccentric adjustment system, making improved toe control particularly valuable.
- The double-adjustable design allows rear toe settings to be fine-tuned for street, drag racing, autocross, or road-course applications.
- Because TR007 uses rod ends instead of compliant factory rubber bushings, additional suspension feedback and NVH may be transmitted into the chassis.
- BMR's installation instructions specify initially adjusting the TR007 to approximately the same length as the factory toe rod before installation.
- The supplied square lockout washers are installed on both sides of the inner toe rod mounting location.
- BMR specifies tightening the supplied inner toe rod hardware to 80 ft-lbs.
- General Motors specifies replacement of the factory outer toe rod/adjust-link bolt because it is a Torque-to-Yield (TAY), single-use fastener.
- BMR's instructions identify GM Part Number 11609598 as the outer toe rod/adjust-link bolt and GM Part Number 11611265 as the corresponding outer washer.
- BMR's instructions list the GM outer toe rod bolt specification as 74 ft-lbs plus 105 degrees. Always verify the latest GM service information for the specific vehicle before installation.
- BMR notes that it did not replace the Torque-to-Yield outer bolts during its own development and testing, but customers should follow GM service procedures regarding single-use hardware.
- A professional four-wheel alignment is required/recommended after installation because TR007 directly controls rear toe settings.
- Any future adjustment to toe rod length should be followed by verification of rear toe alignment.
- Professional installation is recommended for customers unfamiliar with adjustable suspension and alignment components.
